At the VaMPIRE project, we’re on the mission to transform the way Parkinson’s is detected! We’re developing a groundbreaking test — a simple, fast, and non-invasive blood test that can help identify Parkinson’s at an early stage. To make this possible, we need you!
We are recruiting participants to be part of our clinical trial: We are interested in finding the collaboration of patients with Parkinson’s or non-Parkinson’s disease affected individuals in Italy, Spain, Poland and Greece.
Whether you are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) or are a non-PD volunteer, your participation in the VAMPIRE study will last approximately 24 months.
What to Expect:

- Eligibility Screening
First, you’ll go through an inclusion/exclusion criteria review to confirm eligibility. - Initial Visit
- A clinical interview to gather details about your medical history.
- A clinical assessment, including several clinical validated questionnaires.
- A blood sample will be collected.
- Follow-Up Survey
- Every 3 months, you’ll be contacted for a brief phone interview to update us on your health and, if applicable, the progression of Parkinson’s disease.
- Final Visit (at 24 Months)
- A final clinical interview and assessment.
- If you are a PD participant, one more blood sample will be collected.
After the final visit, your participation in the study will be complete.
Whether you have Parkinson or you are in good health, your participation is valuable and helps us advance early detection.
